| | The Centre's Director of Coaching is Jeff Wood.
| | |  | Jeff was a goalkeeper for Charlton Athletic in London and HJKA in Finland. He coached youth soccer in Minneapolis for a number of years before returning to England to manage and coach Brighton and Hove Albion in the UK's professional leagues. He's also coached in Asia and Malta.
Jeff remains heavily involved with Charlton Athletic, and is building a unique Academy for the club in Spain. He holds UEFA A License and UEFA Youth License.

The US contact for the Centre of Excellence is Gavin Owen-Thomas, the former Director of Arsenal Ladies Centre of Excellence - a man with vast knowledge of youth soccer in both the US and in Europe. Coaching in the United States he was the only coach to lead his teams to three consecutive WAGS Cup titles. His experience in both continents allows him to make the perfect match in sizing up American teams against local British opposition. He holds a UEFA "A" license as well as a USSF "A" and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
They will work hand-in-hand with your coaches - teaching them the best of European football. This experienced crew teaches the principles of team play, how to make the opposition play predictably, and specialized tactics such as flat-back defenses.
