But during his travels, he was transformed from an average joe into a devout noodlehead. Noodles became more than just food to him, they became his obsession. He decided to dedicate his life to helping others reach noodle enlightenment.
| | |  | Finally in 1997, Doc Chey's travels and experiences inspired two cool guys named Brook and Rich in Atlanta, GA to open the first Doc Chey's Noodle House. They envisioned a neighborhood joint where everyone could enjoy heaping noodle bowls; friendly, quick service; a comfortable environment. All at a reasonable price. | |
Soon, so many were craving Doc Chey's pan-Asian menu that Brook and Rich quickly opened more Doc Chey's. Now there are three -- two in Atlanta - one in Emory Village beside Emory University, the other in Virginia-Highland; and since September 2002, in historic Asheville, NC.
